I continue to be passionate about helping researchers be productive, and science communication. I am by all accounts a tech evangelist, active spokesperson for women in tech, and an award winning public speaker. At heart I am Dutch, but raised to look far past the boundaries of my small country. As such, I became a serial expat. I've lived in The Netherlands, Brazil, the United Arab Emirates, the UK and Canada, and travelled to many more. For many years, I have been calling Toronto "home".
