It’s also important to know where this is going to be too. Do you want to create the space in a spare room? Or do you want to be out of the house an in an outbuilding or even the garage? Think about where the best possible place to put this is, so that you can get the right kind of professional feel for it.
But then finally, you’ve got the decor to think about. No matter whether this is an office that we’re talking about, a workshop, or studio, how you design it matters. Because this is often going to set the tone for the business and how you feel when you’re working. So think about the overall look and feel of the decor and how to practically lay it all out. This is then going to make things feel a lot more official too – because you can feel a bit amateur when you work from home.
