How to drastically improve your customer website experience

If you have a site then you will know more than anyone how important it is for you to provide your customers with the best experience. After all, if you don’t provide your customers with a great experience then you can’t ever hope to retain their loyalty and this can cause you major issues in the future if you are not careful.

White Space

White space is essential to a good design. It helps your customer to navigate through the company site and it also gives them the chance to focus on some of the surrounding elements. White space, when it is placed around text, can actually increase your customer attention by 20%. It can also help your site to feel very open, modern and even fresh as well. A downside of having whitespace however is that it can take up valuable website space and if you have a lot of information that you need to fit into a small space then this can cause you problems. If you are trying to get a ton of content above the fold then having a lot of white space may cause you problems with the balance of the site. One way around this would be for you to make sure that you are finding the right happy medium between white space and quality information, so go through your site and find out what really needs to be above the fold and what doesn’t. If you want to get some good examples of special design, consider looking at mobile app development. You can see it here.

Page Speed

One of the main frustrating aspects of a site is when it fails to load. Mobile devices are on the rise and when your customers browse online, they really do expect you to have a fast website. If you are not able to provide your customers with a good website experience then there is a high chance that they will bounce and this can be a source of frustration to say the least. Users will often find that they don’t have the time to wait as well and this is something that you will want to avoid. So how do you get around this? You need to go and find a tool that tests the speed of your site. Google actually have a free tool that gives you the chance to do this.

Call to Action

Your customers are already accustomed to having visual cues and this helps them to find out what content is important to them. Calls to action are when an action word gives your user the chance to navigate through your site so that they can get to where they need to be. When you are able to create buttons for your site, it helps to look into colour psychology because it could boost your site conversion rate by over 10%. Nothing can quite compare to this and you would be surprised at how easy it is for you to really benefit from this.
