My Career from Bench to Business – University Affairs Interview

Recently I met Jennifer Polk, who heads up FromPhDtoLife.com, and gives graduate students and academics advice on their career transitions. I didn’t meet Jen completely by chance, I had been following her on Twitter for some time already. One day I noticed that she actually is based out of Toronto and when I was going to be home in Canada next, I got in touch. A cup of coffee and awesome conversation later she interviewed me for her article series on career transitions published by University Affairs.

Nice interview! Thanks for sharing your experiences. It’s tough to know really how many options you have when you are still knee deep in a PhD program 🙂

Good to see some options do exist after finishing up grad school.

Absolutely! There are more options than we are ever told about while in grad school. It’s something that I think needs to change.
